For some reason when I say that Lillian is sixteen months old it still feels like she is wittle bitty, but when I say she is, a year and 4 months old it sounds like it has been forever. Lillian's personality is so precious and I often find myself just watching her. Let me catch you all up on all the fun things she can do.....
Lillian sings ALL THE TIME! Her favorites to sing are:
Jesus Loves Me (when she starts singing this, it just melts your heart! Hearing her sweet little voice say Jesus)
Jesus Loves the Little Children
Twinkle Twinkle / Baa Baa Black Sheep (they sound a lot alike)
Head Shoulders Knees and Toes
Ring Around the Rosies
Rockabye Baby
She dances to!
Ring Around the Rosies (especially the all fall down part)
Rocking to Rockabye Baby
I'm In The Lord's Army (she knows most of the motions)
Her vocabulary is growing....

I am sure I am forgetting some! Those words are words that she knows what they are. She has learned a lot of these from reading books.
Her favorite toy is her Bernice the bear. She carries her around everywhere! Lillian sometimes will not eat if she is not holding Bernice.
Bath time is her favorite time and she asks for a bath more than twice a day. She sure is one clean lady! Lillian is very affectionate too. She is always giving us kisses and little pats on the back when you hold her. A fond attachment is brewing between Mommy and Baby and sometimes it can get frustrating during the day but this Mommy sure does love it! A book called, Skippyjon Jones, is a staple in everyday life. Especially the last page..... Lillian likes to act it out. It reads something like, "and Skippyjon Jones sleeps so he can wake up and do it all over again." She likes to go to the other side of the room, lay down on the floor, "sleep" and "wake up." Daddy taught her that one! It is terribly cute.
Lillian is up to five teeth almost six. I didn't think this day would come, when she would actually have a mouth full! Getting her to eat is still a struggle but we try and try again. Thank goodness for Greek yogurt that packs the protein in! Her favorite food is strawberries. They are the only thing she will eat at anytime of the day and as many as you will give her.
Sweet Lillian,
YOU are Mommy's and Daddy's pride and joy! We love experiencing life with you and teaching you new things everyday. What a blessing God gave us in you! We LOVE You
you are ours.... and we are yours!
