That boat was Lee and I's floating home last week! We snuck away for some couple time while Lillian lived it up with her GiGi and Grandaddy. It was such a relaxing week. I never realized all the tiny things you sacrifice for being a parent. Like..... going to the bathroom by yourself, actually chewing and eating your food, sleeping like a rock with no interruptions, being able to get yourself fully ready with no breaks, and sleeping in! I am not complaining just being honest. I hope that Lee and I can continue to have a getaway for ourselves once a year, so we are able to reconnect and take care of/rekindle our marriage on those times away.
