12 months = 1 Year!

Here we are at 12 months my sweet Lillian!

Mommy still remembers the day before you were born, like it was yesterday. I was so excited to meet you. When you were born, you weighed 6lbs and 1oz. You were such a tiny little thing at only 17 1/2 inches long. Now you weigh 17 lbs, 13 oz and 27 1/2 inches long. You still fit perfectly in mommy and daddy's arms and we cherish the time that you let us hold you.

You are walking now!! Walking everywhere!! It is such a beautiful thing to see you figure out your balance and taking your time with your steps. When you first started walking, you would want to walk to fast and end up falling. Your little mind was going faster than your little body could go. But eventually you figured that out and started taking your time walking. Now you are unstoppable! The first time you took some steps your Aunt Becca and Uncle Ozzy were over at your house. We were all so excited for you!

Balls are now your favorite toy. You can even throw them. They might not go in the right direction but you can. It is so fun playing with you. You pick things up so quickly and are so smart. The vocabulary that you use is growing by the day. The words you can say are, ball, book, bye bye, mama, dada, baba (bottle) and recent ones are shoe, baby and we were told pawpaw. Mommy hasn't heard it yet but I believe you can.

We sing lots of songs together and now you help with the hand motions. Your two favorite songs are "The Wheels on the Bus," and "The Itsy Bitsy Spider." Mommy does certain hand motions that go with the songs and you have picked them up. Mommy was so excited the first time you joined her while she was singing. We have been adding new songs everyday to sing.

Lillian it has been such a wonderful year watching you grow. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and we love you to the moon and back! You have changed our lives and showed us how to love even more than we knew.
