It's Just Another Year

Right????

Well this birthday was not just another year. It was the beginning of many years with my precious daughter and husband. This year, I have been blessed with new life and my personal change into a Mommy. I couldn't have done it without the constant support from my husband and family.

October is going to be a wonderful month!

It is going to be a busy month but it is filled with all kinds of fun and adventures! The first one was to the Ryman. Lee has never been to a concert at the Ryman, so it was a great time.
He took me to the Sara Barielles concert. If you haven't been to the Ryman, you should.

In 1885 Nashville riverboat Captain Thomas Green Ryman (born Oct 12, 1841) is converted by southern evangelist Samuel Porter Jones and decides to build a tabernacle to serve the city's revivals. In 1890 the first revival was held within the walls. The original pews are still in the Ryman and these were supplied in 1892. The cool thing is, is that so many people have sat on those pews and they are full of stories and history. Love it! It is one of my favorite venues. The acoustics are out of this world.
The Grand Ole Opry had a stay at the Ryman from 1943 - 1974. Now it is one of the best venues in the world and many artists perform there. Well, there is a little history and here is a little video.

A big thank you to my mother-in-law for coming and watching Lillian, so that we could go out for a night! 

Then on the actual day of my birth, my mother came into town and we all went to Cheekwood! There was a fabulous exhibit there and it was a beautiful day so we took full advantage!! Lillian was so good. She just loves being outside!

It was a lovely day. I did get lots of amazing gifts and showered with lots of love! I had a fabulous weekend! This month holds lots of adventures including my first SEC ball game! Can't wait to tell you all about it!
